These records (1907-1994) of the Montana State Board of Health and its sucessor the Board of Health and Environmental Sciences consist of minutes (1907-1994); reports (1925-1964) from the Missoula City-County Health Department and from state health officers concerning typhoid fever in Warland, Stevensville, Helena, Thurlow, and Libby; liscensing laws for hospitals, state public health plans; and industrial hygiene of the Zonolite Company of Libby. Also included are materials removed from a scrapbook on the history and activities of the Montana Health Planning Committee from 1946 to 1950. The Food and Drug Division subgroup includes general and interoffice correspondence, court papers, press releases, field investigation and other reports, speeches, subject files, and miscellany.
